I'm assuming the Cornell map is based on reports from birders. If they show the whole state as a range, isn't that suggesting somewhere in the metro area people are seeing them?

Cornell's map for wpw shows all of MN as its range. I've never heard it nor heard of it over the years. Where are people seeing it?
