This afternoon I found a Red-necked Grebe in the Knife River Harbor (just a
little south of Two Harbors). It was seen with some Common Goldeneyes and
Bufflehead. On the drive home to Duluth I had several Herring Gulls fly
overhead, and my first-of-the-winter Glaucous Gull, which was a juvenile.

Hopefully the weather will allow for a productive and well-rounded
Christmas Bird Count!
