While out leading a birding trip to Sax-Zim Bog yesterday, we had some
really fun sightings including two Northern Hawk-Owls, two Boreal
Chickadees and several Black-billed Magpies. Northern Shrike and
Rough-legged Hawks continue to be seen in the bog. Special thanks to Frank
Nicoletti for helping me locate the Great Gray Owls yesterday! We saw two
of them on the way back to Duluth.

Earlier today I had some redpolls fly over my house... still lingering
around before heading north.

Good birding,
