Observed 18 species of waterfowl along the Miss River in Houston County yesterday, including the first Blue-winged Teal of the year for me and a nice male Ruddy Duck. Also saw several pelicans flying north along the main channel. The river continues to be mostly frozen except for moving water in channels and in areas with small seeps.
