On a tip from Cole Foster I found 3 Eared Grebes on the Coon Rapids side of the Coon Rapids dam (Anoka County.) They are in the pond behind the main park building, easily seen from the boat landing, often coming close to shore. Hundreds of ducks in the area, counted 11 different.
