At 1 pm today I found an EARED GREBE and a Horned Grebe on the bridge to Grey Cloud Island (Grey Cloud Dr. S). Both birds were diving very close to shore when I left at 1:30.
Earlier, I had 45 species at Cottage Grove Ravine Regional Park, including Yellow Warbler, Palm Warbler, Orange-crowned Warbler, Nashville Warbler, Belted Kingfisher, House Wren, Lincoln's Sparrow, Green Heron, Eastern Towhee, Lincoln's Sparrow, and Spotted Sandpiper.
