On my quick rounds this morning here are some highlights.

Lake Hiawatha
White Pelicans (4 present, also seen last night)
Common Loons (8 to 10 remain - down from a high count of 67 on Friday, 4/26
before ice out on other big lakes)

Diamond Lake
Great Blue Heron
Yellow-rumped Warblers (dozens)
Cliff Swallows
Tree Swallows
Blue-Winged Teal
Female Red-winged Blackbird
Bufflehead

Lake Harriet
Red-necked Grebe
Horned Grebe
Common Loon
Red-breasted Mergansers
Possible Gadwall (flew in as another MOU person and I were looking at
Red-necked Grebe)

Lake Calhoun
Common Loon
Also, saw one flying but it seemed smaller and more slender in general -
possible Western/Clark's Grebe? Anyone seen any of these yet?
