Several .pdf maps have been added to show what counties you have seen which
birds. The .pdf maps were made since all browser except firefox have troubles
printing the maps. You can access these pages from http://moumn.org, the MOU
home page.
Occurrence Maps -> Color Book (pdf) - has 16 Minnesota maps/page
indicating what counties you have seen a particular species.
Occurrence Maps -> Color Book (2x2 pdf) - has 4 Minnesota maps/page. It
uses larger maps and has the counties listed on the maps. It takes a long time
to come up and is 111 pages long.
Occurrence Maps -> Color Book (filtered pdf) - has 4 Minnesota maps/page.
The larger maps are used, but species that have been seen in fewer than 48
counties have been ommitted as well as species where you have seen the bird in
all counties. This take a little less time to come up and is 33 pages long for
some listers.
All of the maps indicate your species by coloring in the county in Red.
Species seen by others are indicated by a black dot in the 16 map/page maps and
by gray for the 2x2 maps/page.
Time progress for county listers
Another feature has been added to the page
Checklists -> Personal County Checklists
A drop down box has been added so you can see what your county checklists for a
previous date. Change the date and the checklist numbers are shown for that
date.
I wondered when Robert Janssen accomplished seeing 200 species in all counties.
By changing the URL to say "user=Robert Janssen" instead of "user=user" you
can see Bob's current count. Changing the date to 1995-01-01 you can see he
had 200 species in all counties except Koochiching county.
County Lowest Count
Listing -> Listing Supplement
then click on "County Lowest Count". This is the lowest county count reported
by county listers. Click on the name to see the county list reported to the
seasonal report database.
