I am leading a MRVAC fieldtrip this Saturday. We will be meeting at 7:30am in the parking lot of Hok-si-lah park the entrance of which is off of Highway 61 between Frontenac Station and Lake City. If you are late, we will be heading down the trail to the south near the river. This trip is free and open to all. No reservation or calls are expected. We will be heading into the area that got hit with last night's snow and might be birding in the rain. I will be there finding the birds, no matter the conditions. I remember one year when it was particularly nasty and a beautiful male Blackburnian Warbler hopped around our feet feeding on the ground rather than in the cold trees.
