I went out to Park Point this morning and found a Northern Mockingbird in
the park. I gather this is a rather uncommon bird at this latitude (not
the case where I'm from).

I also estimated about 30 Red-breasted Mergs along both shorelines in just
over an hour of birding. This got flagged by ebird as a high count for the
date, but I'm sure there are many more out there.

There were about a dozen Ruddy Turnstones mixed with about as many
Sanderlings working the lakeshore around 32nd st on Saturday. This report
was also flagged by ebird filters...

Pardon the listserve abuse, but if anybody knows where to find a Trumpeter
Swan near Duluth, please send me an email. I tried and failed at Indian
Point Campground on Sunday.

Cheers

Scott
