Not sure if this is significant, but 3 sandhill cranes were seen on
thursday (8-8-13) in Meeker County about 2 miles north of the junction
of MN Hwy 15 & Meeker County Road 24 on east side of 15. They were
seen in on the slope of a grassland area. Appeared to be one juvenile
bird and two adults.
