Greetings,
I wanted to extend a big thanks to those people who made this possible! What
a great way to spark the imagination of young birders! I manned the spinning
wheel and had at least 3 kids come up and say, "I can name all of those
birds" ! I always asked them to show me, and reminded them it's an American
Goldfinch, but praised them and gave them a stamp!! My youngest with a
correct id was 2 , who correctly blurted " bawd egow" from his stroller!
Most kids just say eagle, but he was right on! So thanks again for accepting
a Wisconsin volunteer ! It's a great time for everyone involved!!
