This morning was the first of the weekly autumn bird hikes in Duluth,
hosted by the Duluth Audubon Society. I had a great time leading this
morning's trip, and will be leading the weekly hikes throughout the end of
October. From seeing my first-of-the-fall American Pipit, to observing at
least 230 Sanderlings, it was a stellar morning to be out. Other highlights
from this morning include both black-bellied and American Golden Plovers, a
Semipalmated Plover, Baird's Sandpiper and four Horned Grebes. eBird list
is below

Hope to see you at upcoming hikes. They are free-of-charge, and all are
welcome! We meet every Tuesday morning at 6:30 at the end of Park Point, in
the Sky Harbor airport parking lot.

Good birding,
Erik Bruhnke
