Still lingering at Lilydale Park this afternoon were both Yellow-rumped and
Orange-crowned Warblers. The former was along Pickerel Lake, and the latter
along the stretch of bike trail west of the the parking lot for the river's
boat-ramp. Further west along the bike trail, near the big clearing beside
the river, there was a mix of sparrows: Song, American Tree, and Fox.
White-throated Sparrows could also be heard occasionally, and a Great Blue
Heron took off from the lake under the watchful eyes of a Bald Eagle and a
Red-tailed Hawk.
