Today at Hawk Ridge, visitors were able to see a lone Pectoral Sandpiper
that decided to take a break in the middle of the road along the main
overlook. It's a pretty cool bird to see coming through this late in the
season. Hopefully it will make it south!

Highlights from today also included hearing/seeing two Bohemian Waxwings
flying by, as well as about a dozen White-winged Crossbills moving through
the area.

Tomorrow should be a good day at the ridge! Cheers and good birding,
