The Lewis's Woodpecker in Roseau County was seen and photographed today by Shawn Conrad -- who also saw it fly into Lake of the Woods County to the east. Birders are welcome to visit, but are asked to stay on the road, do park in or block the driveway, and above all, do not disturb the bird. Shawn reports seeing it on the feeder, on a utility pole, and on a woodpile.
