Took a drive to Vermillion area today and found one adult male Snowy feeding on the ground in a farm field. At about 3:30 it flew up to an irrigation pole and rested there as though hunting for its next meal. 3 other vehicles were there too (170th & Hogan) and everyone stayed in their cars, keeping a good distance and not disturbing the Owl...nice to see!
