This afternoon I went looking for the Atwater Snowy Owl and succeeeded in
finding it almost right away. The owl was on a pole on Kandiyohi Co. Rd. 10
about 1 mile west of Co. Rd. 2 (the same area it is been seen by numerous
birders over the last month). The owl flew from the pole a short distance
across
the road and landed on top of a Morton building on the north side of Co. Rd. 10
where it remained for the duration of my observation. This farm site is about
a
quarter mile west of the intersection of Co. Rd. 10 and 180th St.

Pictures can be seen on my blog: http://www.aboywhocriedheron.com

Other birds from my outing are included on my eBird checklist:
