The first appearance of Spotted Sandpipers t 05-05-2014 Monday 9:30 am The first appearance of Spotted Sandpipers that were seen last year raising young, have returned to the Mississippi River levy on the south shore in St Paul, Ramsey County. Two strutting males were seen racing between two calling females in an attempt to impress. Observed on the rocks at waters edge, between Wabasha St bridge and east of the Robert Street bridge.
