Oh my gosh. A crow just came through the yard and snatched a male cardinal. The blue jays went after it pretty hard, but he made off with the cardinal in its talons. We have a neighborhood Cooper's so that's what I assumed it would be. No. A Crow. Do crows prey on other live, adult birds regularly? I assume they are like jays and steal from nests whenever possible, but adult birds?
