I'm a resident of Bloomington and received a postcard from the city in the
mail today about a public open house for the Minnesota River Valley Master
Plan. The meeting is July 31 from 5:30-7:30 at Bloomington City Hall. The
postcard says "The City is peparing a master plan for City property in the
Minnesota River Valley to identify opportunities to enhance access, use,
and stewardship of this unique resource. We want your input and ideas!"

They have an online survey to find out how people use these areas,
including bird/widlife watching, but also other things like fishing,
mountain biking, etc. I thought this would be relevant to share here since
it's such an important area for bird watchers. Let's speak up and be
heard!
