American Woodcock displaying west of HQ area. It was in the road as it began to rain. It walked toward me and displayed 3 times. So cool. And it is mid July!

Other birds near HQ were a Great Horned Owl, 2 Sharp-tailed Grouse, male American Harrier and the other usuals. Big lightening storm ended the birding before I could go on the dike road and try to find Yellow Rails. Good birding, Judy, [email protected]
