The summer season (6/1 - 7/31) has ended. If you will be submitting a seasonal report of bird observations for inclusion in the summer summary to be published in The Loon, please do so now. We encourage submissions using the MOU website (http://moumn.org/ <http://moumn.org/ > ). Look under "Seasonal Report" at the top of the web page. Please provide data by August 15th so it can also be reviewed for the North American Birds (NAB) summary for Minnesota.
Special note for those who use eBird: Cornell makes eBird data available to state organizations like the MOU every three months. This means that any summer records you submit via eBird will not be available to the MOU until late September. This is early enough to be used for preparation of the Summer Seasonal Report for The Loon, but it is too late for inclusion of these records in the Minnesota NAB summer summary. If you have any records that you'd like to provide for NAB, the only way to submit those is via the MOU website. Thanks for your observations and the details you provide!
