We will demonstrate to show MSFA and Governor Dayton that complete disregard for our feathered friends in not something that we, the financers of the stadium, will accept.
We are all a part of this organization because we recognize that birds provide something valuable to our lives. For the 50 million self-proclaimed birders in this country, there are over 10 times as many birds killed every single year by window collisions alone. Although for many of us birding is hobby - a source of joy and relaxation from a life that is already stressful - it is an undeniable fact that bird populations are declining at extremely rapid rates. If we don't speak up for them, who will? This stadium is in our backyard. It is also in the middle of the migration path of over half of North American migratory bird species - our birds. We have to do our part to protect them, before they disappear forever. Thank you for appreciating these remarkable animals. We hope to see you tomorrow to join us in being the voices for our birds.
