The Black Duck found by Coralie Jacobson in late November and later recorded on
the
Willmar CBC was present this morning on the Crow River in downtown New London.
This
section of river can be viewed from the dam right by the Mill Pond as well as
along Central
Avenue where the river runs right by the road, and also from a small parking
lot
immediately behind the west-side downtown businesses. The Black Duck was with
34
Mallards. Another interesting bird there is an over-wintering Belted
Kingfisher.
