Several days of warm weather is bringing welcome changes. We now have some unfrozen ponds with Canada Geese, Trumpeter Swans, Mallards, Gadwalls and Pintails. This morning at Hamden Slough there was a beautiful male Northern Harrier hunting and 14 Greater Prairie chickens in field where Fish & Wildlife's blind is set up (corner of CR 13 and 106).
