Hi, A while back there was a lot of conflicting information about the availability of replacement copies of the Sibley Guide. Well, Penguin Random House really does have such a policy.
You can call their customer service department at 1-800-793-2665 (Random House Customer Support). You'll get a recorded message which, after some additional information, will direct you to press 7 if you are calling about a replacement copy of the Sibley Guide to Birds. After pressing 7, you will receive instructions to cut the bar-code from the back of the book and mail it to: Penguin Random House Attention: Consumer Services/DMS 400 Hahn Road Westminster, Maryland 21157 I called a little over a week ago and received my copy today.
