On Sunday I did some birding in Yellow Medicine County with Garrett Wee and
in Kandiyohi County with Steve Gardner.  

Yellow Medicine County:

We birded Miller-Richter WMA and found several hundred shorebirds--many were
peeps, Yellowleg sp., and Pectorals.  There were about 15 Long-billed
Dowitchers, several Dunlin, and a few Wilson's Phalaropes.

Later we birded the Spellman Lake area, specifically Miedd Lake. In addition
to the previously posted Ibises, the lake was loaded with shorebirds.  We
didn't have time to sort through them, however.  This eBird list has the
exact location of the Ibises pinned:

Kandiyohi County:
The Lake Lillian sewage ponds had few birds but great diversity (18 sp).

Wilson's Phalaropes (4)
Spotted Sandpiper (2)
Pectoral Sandpiper (2)
Lesser Yellowlegs (2)
Solitary Sandpiper (nearby on Lake Lillian)

Steve and I spent several hours birding Sibley State Park in the evening.

White-throated Sparrow (50) - low ball estimate

Northern Waterthrush (1)
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (3)
