This message is two pronged 1. To see if I can finally post to this list serve 2. Last night I found a short eared owl hunting at 4:55pm near the SMSC recycling facility off Canterbury road S on the south side of 169. There is a road that leads to the facility and others refound it tonight at 4:50. I saw it Sunday night standing on a newly paved road that runs in between McKenna Road and Hergott Memorial drive. I was facing north towards the bus transit station where I saw it at 4:55pm.
