On Friday I found a FOY Eastern Kingbird in northern Anoka County. Today (Sunday) we birded Dakota County. FOY birds included Bobolink (Blaine Avenue in Castle Rock Twshp), Ruby-throated Hummingbird at home, Marsh Wrens at 180th, and Grasshopper and Savanah Sparrows at the Great Northern Industrial Park north of Randolph. We counted six Yellow-headed Blackbirds at 140th St. Marsh and many more at 180th St. Marsh, which still had at least 8 waterfowl species.
