Birded 140th Street Marsh and 180th Street Marsh in Dakota Co. At 140th
Street we found the Cattle Egret and the Dunlin both in full breeding
plumage. Both were also reported by others on the south side of the road.
As we left the egret flew to the other shore and was no longer visible.
Soras were especially vocal.

At 180th Street we had great views of Soras and Spottted Sandpipers. Ducks
included several Redhead, a Ringed-neck, and about 20 Ruddies. New birds
included Marsh Wren, Bank Swallow, a Northern Waterthrush, and Yellow
Warblers.
