I had a long look at a kingfisher perched on a small tree overlooking a marsh in Minnetonka...near the intersection of 101 and highway 7, directly in back of the Wild Bird store. He finally flew off towards the north, leaving me to wonder where he was finding open water. As far as I can tell, the marsh is frozen over, and the clerk in the Wild Bird store agreed with that assessment. Minnehaha Creek? Kathy Mattsson
