A stunning photo by a duck hunter of a Snowy Plover in Winona has just
surfaced. Unfortunately, it was from Wednesday, and a couple brief searches
today have yielded nothing. The area is the end of Bartlett Lake Rd in Winona,
which runs through a small marsh at the airport. It may not look like much but
WF Ibis have showed up here multiple times, as well as other shorebirds. The
March 8 date is amazing. Of course I'll update if the bird is refound.
