There are 9 Trumpeters on Silver Lake in Virginia today. Most I have seen at one time this year. But the cool thing is that one is banded, and the same bird was here on February 22. I reported that sighting to the USGS, and will report this one too. Any thoughts on where it has been the last 4 weeks?
