The annual Midwest Crane Count is this Saturday (April 8th). Are your cranes going to be counted? The count runs from first light to 7:30 am, so it won't interrupt your plans for the day, unless you were planning on sleeping in. And, if you are one of the lucky ones with cranes calling in your backyard, you might be able to do the count in your robe and slippers! Instructions are on the web, so you don't have to be expert in cranes.
