I just looked at the rare bird alert Friday weekly report from the American Birding Association and it lists a sighting of a Smew in Duluth. I agree with Kathy who inquired about this earlier. Where are the reports on this bird? Who found it and did anyone else see it? I found no reports at all on eBird and saw nothing on the Minnesota Facebook group. Is this some sort of underground sighting meant to be kept on the down low?
