This morning a fellow teacher saw a probable Snowy Owl near Cosmos. The exact location was the intersection of 170th St. and 520th Ave. This is northwest of Cosmos.
Details supporting Snowy Owl ID: -Owl looked "white with flecks on it" -Surrounding habitat is plowed agricultural fields I have not yet confirmed the sighting and won't be able to today. I just wanted to put the information out there in case anybody will be in the area.
