For home picture windows that are deadly some thoughts.  If you feed birds,
place feeders within 2 feet of the window or more than 30 feet out.
UV decals fade after a few months. I have had pretty good luck with Droll
Yankee's spider webs, 2 per package.  They do not block the view, but birds
seem to see them.

During migration ,when possible, use white blinds or curtains to mute the
reflection of vegetation. Keep blinds closed when not home for the day.
Nothing is perfect, but we should all try.  Collidescape is great and
effective, but more suitable for an office building.
