Hi, I'm new to the MOU, but have been interested in birds since I was a
kid. Good to be here!

Yesterday morning, we saw a lone Sandhill Crane in the marshy area off the
river in Lilydale park, St. Paul, standing in the grass and calling. Can
someone tell me, is it fairly common to see them alone during this migration
time, or does it mean this one got separated or lost perhaps?

Also saw Hooded Mergansers in this same area..
