Last night we witnessed at least 100 nighthawks whirling high overhead at
about 8:00pm. The behavior resembled a very large kettle of hawks, but they
were clearly nighthawks. Location was Eastern Pine County over the east
fork of Crooked Creek, intersection of Barnes Spring Road and CR 138.
