(Posted by Conny M. Brunell <[email protected]> via moumn.org) This morning I observed a breeding adult Common Gallinule at Wood Lake Nature Center in Richfield, Hennepin County. It was seen out from the observation deck swimming in and out of the cattails, and walking in the stubble. A nice unexpected surprise on such a gloomy, rainy day.
