I think so. We once watched a flock of RB gulls stealing fish from a flock of
DC Cormorants sailing down the Mississippi River in late October, north of La
Crosse. Dramatic battle between the two species.

Noticed heavy ring billed gull activity on Lake Owasso south shore in
Roseville across the street from where I live. Went and confirmed.my
suspicions that the concentration was there probably to feed but by, I
suspect, stealing fish from the flock of hooded mergansers as they surfaced
after diving and catching a fish. Based on past similar experiences I just
wanted to confirm this is in fact common ring bill gull behavior
