Tony Hertzel and I have been working on an update to the MOU website this year and it was just released.
https://moumn.org/index.php Some points to guide you around this site: - From anywhere on the website, click on the banner across the top of the page, which reads "The Minnesota Ornithologists' Union", to return to the home page.<br /> - After leaving the home page to visit another page, you'll see a slight change in the background color of the top menu. All the subpages under a common main menu use the same color for the top menu. (Quick Links is the exception, as all of these pages are also found under other menus.) - Among the seven main menus, Quick Links is a list of those web pages most frequently visited, or relevant for the season we are in. - Under MOU, Administration, Contacts > Join or Renew Your Membership, you'll see that the web pages to renew using PayPal or a personal check have been combined into a single page. - The Birding in Minnesota menu now has links to all three social media accounts: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube. - Recently Seen and Showcase images have been combined into a single page (Publications, Checklists, Galleries > Photos and Galleries > Recent Images). Any MOU member uploading images here can select whether the image can be shown on the home page. The image that appears on the home page is randomly selected from the most recent 5 or 6 images uploaded. (Refresh the home page several times. You'll see different images appearing.) - Awards, Education and Outreach now splits the MOU Awards from one page into five. Also, links to Minnesota Bird Clubs are shown. - The rightmost main menu, My MOU Account, holds all your data and submissions (images, RQDs, etc.) to the MOU database.
