Hey birders,

We believe that the last juvenile MIKI departed on Tuesday morning. We had
a couple of days with only one bird being seen and have not seen one
since. It was great to see all of you at the largest MOU in-person
gathering for the year so far! J

I was also asked by some of the visitors from the Twin Cities who came down
to see the kites to share raptor sightings/highlights.

Yesterday’s count was actually one of the highest in North America for the
day.

Turkey Vulture: 189

Osprey: 1

Bald Eagle: 40

Sharp-shinned Hawk: 6

Cooper’s Hawk: 10

Broad-winged Hawk: 667

Red-tailed Hawk: 4

Happy birding!

Chad!
