Good to hear. Did you have to make any modifications to the mozart
ebuild? We keep it under CVS so it would be good to apply any
corrections you had to make so that things are smoother for the next
release.
For example, we already have this patch for the ebuild:
http://www.mozart-oz.org/pipermail/mozart-users/2006/014371.html
I got the ebuild from CVS. There was a change required. Apparently,
there is no-longer a "sys-apps/sh-utils" package. I changed that
build/run requirement to "coreutils". It's probably a moot dependency,
as it's hard to figure a gentoo system running with out it.
To get the mozart-1-3-0-fixes built, I did the CVS get into a local dir,
then I did an
"ebuild <path_to_mozart_ebuild> unpack"
which unpacked the standard package, then I copied the local patched
code over the top of that, then
"ebuild <path_to_mozart_ebuild> compile"
"ebuild <path_to_mozart_ebuild> install"
"ebuild <path_to_mozart_ebuild> qmerge"
and that's all, I think. I'll be doing it again soon with another box
I'm rebuilding, so I can take better notes if someone wants them.
cheers,
Jonathan.
