Ok, Christian, good luck to you and Gecode! We are integrating Gecode
into Mozart, by the way (the Avispa group in Colombia is doing this). We
would still like to use you as a consultant on Mozart once in a while, you
know the system quite well.
My group is still developing Mozart and Oz - primarily in two areas:
distributed programming (the SELFMAN project, a 2 MEuro EU
project, is starting soon and will add self management capabilities
to Mozart) and teaching programming (I think the CTM approach to
teaching programming is an excellent one and I am continuing this,
cf. my message on Functional Reactive Programming). We have
made and are continuing to make good progress in both these areas.
See for example the P2PKit service architecture. Boris Mejias is
preparing a new release right now (which has already been announced
here) and Raphael Collet is preparing a release with the DSS for this fall.
