I am learning OZ.

I was expecting ICFP contest to be in august, but it is a bit before:
"competition held the weekend of July 21–24, 2006.".

So I'll have a bit less time to learn OZ, if I expect to make a working
entry for the contest.

As far as I know, OZ had never been used in this contest.
I hope there is no bad reason for this.

Now, I clearly not intend to win, just to know enough of OZ to make a
not
too bad entry. It would be sad that the value of the programming
language
be made only on my entry, so I guess I'd like to suggest/invite others
to
submit their OZ program too.

I think it could be interesting to try to resolve in OZ, some of the
problems of previous years. I wish I could try to do the ray tracer that
was asked, some years ago.

Normally, the problems chosen are not very hard to come with a working
program that resolve it. But making a winning program is much harder.
