We have new /Oz programs on The Computer Language Shootout - I hope, within the limitations and silliness of the shootout, they at least don't misrepresent Oz.
http://shootout.alioth.debian.org/gp4/benchmark.php?test=all&lang=oz&lang2=oz The experience of writing these little programs in Oz was more interesting than I expected. Having distinct (but fairly compatible) representations for different programming styles (imperative, functional, OO) within the same language really seemed to remove some barriers - I found myself incrementally morphing working programs from one style to another, and some programs became a mish-mash of different styles. I haven't decided if the mish-mash is a good thing or a bad thing - that probably depends on whether I chose the 'right' style for the subtask ;-) Thank you for such a novel and interesting language. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
