Nice contribution Isaac. I found it useful to cite it when users of other languages ask for the performance of Mozart-Oz. In particular I like the cheap-concurrency comparison:

The experience of writing these little programs in Oz was more
interesting than I expected. Having distinct (but fairly compatible)
representations for different programming styles (imperative,
functional, OO) within the same language really seemed to remove some
barriers - I found myself incrementally morphing working programs from
one style to another, and some programs became a mish-mash of different
styles.

I haven't decided if the mish-mash is a good thing or a bad thing -
that probably depends on whether I chose the 'right' style for the
subtask ;-)
