I ended up in exactly this situation, same traceback with a fresh
build today (4/20). I also did the symlink

I had one additional along the way. For some reason SunOS5.mk despite
configure insisted on using -MDupdate with gcc, and I had to hack it
out.


Has anyone sucessfully built a psm2 for Solaris (sparc)?
